Fractional CMO Project
In May, 2024 Lari Numminen joined DataCrunch as a fractional CMO, taking over responsibility for scaling out marketing responsibilities.
The initial focus was on establishing a competitive understanding and differentiated positioning. Once the groundwork had been done, Lari devised a new content marketing plan and updated the company blog with 20+ new sales-focused blog articles. Within six months these articles had over 5x increase in organic search traffic and key top-5 ranking positions on competitive terms related to cloud GPU comparisons.
Another major focus area was the PR for the $13M funding announcement. Working with an external PR agency and by issuing press releases Lari contributed to over 20 organic news publications in international tech media.
Within the period Lari worked with DataCrunch they secured their largest customer deal to date and experienced significant international expansion in awareness and sales interest.
In December, 2024 Lari handed over marketing responsibilities to a new Marketing Manager hire.
