What is Peec AI?
Peec AI is an AI search visibility tool that helps businesses monitor their visibility in AI search engines such as ChatGPT, AI Overviews, and Perplexity. It also helps you to understand your brand's sentiment and how to improve your AI search visibility in comparison to your competitors.
What are the key features of Peec AI?
- Monitors your brand visibility: You can monitor how visible your brand is on the biggest AI search engines.
- Competitors check: You have a quick comparison of your competitors. This helps you understand how you're doing and what content is giving more visibility to your competitors.
- Real-time AI chat overview: Peec AI allows you to analyse real-time conversations in which your brand is mentioned and the content of these conversations.

How did I test Peec AI?
I have personally tested Peec AI as part of a larger effort to test all the major AI search visibility platforms. Therefore, this is not an AI-generated review based on the opinions of others.
This review is based on my personal experience of using Peec AI in a real-life scenario for an actual client.
Yes, I used chatGPT to run a deep research about Peec AI. But the goal was to find the most accurate information about this tool.
Can Peec AI provide you with business-relevant metrics?
To give you a helpful answer, I will be focusing on a few aspects that I consider essential as a marketer working for businesses that need to monitor their AI search visibility:
- Does Peec AI have multi-AI-engine coverage?
Yes, Peec AI has multi-AI engine coverage. It has them all (except DeepSeek):
ChatGPT, AI Overview, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, AI Mode.
This means that by using Peec AI, you will be able to provide an accurate overview of your AI search performance.
Peec AI's AI search engines to track
- Does Peec AI offer a good user experience?
Peec AI's user experience is pretty good. Not too many functions to distract you. You enter. You set up your business in 3 minutes. You have the right column with all the AI search tools. Just in case you need it, Peec AI is organising a group onboarding session to explain how the platform works.
- Does Peec AI offer a good amount of data for its price?
The price/data ratio of Peec AI is average. It provides all the basic information needed to monitor AI search visibility and understand what is making your competitors more visible. A positive feature is that it includes a brand sentiment tracker without costing over €450 (like Writesonic).
A negative point is that Peec AI does not have an 'audit' function that provides specific actions to increase your AI search visibility.
- Does Peec AI give accurate and trustworthy data?
Yes, to an extent. At regular intervals (usually daily), Peec AI queries each supported AI with your tracked prompts.
Peec AI simply runs a few of your prompts through multiple AI search engines based on your selection. It's real-time, essentially.
This is enough to convince me that Peec AI's data is trustworthy. However, it is difficult to determine the trustworthiness of the "sentiment". Each AI search visibility tool has its own algorithm to calculate it.
- Does Peec AI offer actionable tips beyond just data?
No, Peec AI does not provide a playbook or an AI-search visibility auditing tool that shows all the issues with your site and tells you how to fix them. You (or your team) will get signals that you need to translate into a content/PR/SEO to-do list.
- Does Peec AI show you the estimated traffic from AI search engines to your business?
No. PeeC AI does not show an estimated number of visits coming from AI search engines. For that, you need to connect your GA4. I leave you a tutorial to help you with that:
- Can you connect AI citations to the number of clients you receive?
No. PeeC AI does not offer built-in, end-to-end AI referral attribution (i.e., it won’t tell you “this ChatGPT mention → X visits/leads”). It’s a monitoring/analytics tool for AI answer visibility (mentions, position, sentiment, citations), not a traffic/ROI attribution platform.
- Does Peec AI offer a brand's sentiment tracking?
Yes, it does, and it's included in the intermediate pack, which is €199/month compared to €249 for Writesonic. It's very intuitive, and you find the brand's sentiment tracking as soon as you land on the page.
Peec AI's sentiment metrics
- Does Peec AI offer a good brand presence overview?
Yes, it gives you all the information you need for a brand presence overview:
- AI search visibility compared to your competitors
- AI search visibility compared to non-direct competitors
- Historical trend over the last 30 days (I hope Peec AI will introduce a longer period benchmark).
How does Peec AI's AI search visibility work?
The fundamental question here is: Does Peec AI use APIs, or does it scrape the actual web interfaces of AI platforms?
To be honest, I have some concerns about this point. Peec AI's documentation is basic. And I don't know if it's possible to understand these things by using the tool; I certainly couldn't.
This is me trying to find some concrete info after 20 minutes of research
And I did not want to base my review on the opinion of others who did not have direct access to the platform. So I decided to write to the assistance, and this is what they told me: <<We're scraping LLM's UI>>.
My conversation with Peec AI's customer service
By visiting the platform, it seems that I can confirm it (but I'm a marketer, not an API specialist):
Peec AI's AI chat conversations
Still, I have one clear recommendation for Peec AI's team: Make your technical documentation more detailed, covering also these aspects.
By watching their demo videos, they also mention that they run these prompts daily. Can I verify this information? Yes, I can, they run the prompts daily indeed:

What data does Peec AI search visibility collect?
Peec AI runs brand- and topic-specific prompts across major AI engines (ChatGPT, Claude, Google AI Overview, Perplexity) and logs whether/how your brand is mentioned. This visibility dataset is refreshed daily or weekly.
AI search brand visibility
Of course, Peec AI offers AI-powered search to boost brand visibility. It's intuitive and easy to set up. I find this feature particularly useful: when I click on a competitor's name, the AI search engine shows me where these competitors are mentioned.
List of prompts mentioning competitors
AI traffic analytics
Even if you pay extra, Peec AI does not provide an estimate of AI traffic. Other tools, such as Writesonic, offer this functionality, but they cost €49 more per month than Peec AI.
Brand sentiment tracking
Peec AI offers brand sentiment tracking and provides a comparison with your main competitors.
Is there anything else we can do? Not really. It's just a number, and Peec AI won't help you understand what to do next. But it helps you understand the situation.
A suggestion for Peec AI's team: It would be very useful to provide two or three conversations that make the sentiment slightly more negative (on Reddit, LinkedIn, or Quora). Then I could offer my perspective on the situation and help me learn from the negative sentiment.

Where does Peec AI take the information?
I always try to answer these questions by consulting first-party data. And this is the answer that Peec AI's chatbot gave me based on their documentation:
So here I had to do my own assumptions based on evidence and Peec AI's test. And my answer is that Peec AI runs your tracked prompts in the AI engines and captures the actual responses those models return. This is how Peec AI gets its information.
What do I think about Peec AI's data quality?
I trust them, but I'm also aware that Peec AI is just a tool that provides a data interpretation. As such, I find their data useful, but I do not expect them to be bulletproof (I have the same feeling even with bigger providers like Semrush or Ahrefs).
Is Peec AI's data sufficient for me to make content marketing decisions? Yes, and I'm happy with that.
What would I improve in Peec AI's visibility tool?
Actionable insights. You receive the report, but you don't know what to do next.
Although Peec AI's team claims that their "source" tool is a "list of content to write to increase AI search visibility", we still lack audit elements such as "content with poor readability" and negative conversations to engage with and improve.
How is Peec AI's user experience?
Since the first minute I entered, my comment was: <<Nice user experience>>.
Pretty intuitive:
- You sign in
- You put your business information in the tool
- You choose the prompts you want to track
- You land on the landing page
Here is what impressed me about Peec AI: It offers onboarding assistance to get familiar with the platform ASAP. You'll find a button at the top of the first page as soon as you enter. Well done, team!

Once you're on the main page, the interface is quite rich in information, but not overwhelming:

How Peec AI's interface looks
Another aspect of Peec AI's user experience that I find interesting is the following: If you click on one of the 'Recent Chats' mentioned above, you can access the actual AI chats. This is a pretty handy way to quickly understand your "mentioning position".
Peec AI also scores highly on UX with their "suggested prompts". This feature helps any business kick off their AI search visibility monitoring, even if they have no idea what prompt to use.

How much does Peec AI cost?
Here is the detailed breakdown of Peec AI's costs:

-
Good for startups testing the waters.
-
-

-
Adds more prompts, competitors, and advanced reporting.
-

-
-
Enterprise Plan – €499/month
-
Highest-tier package with larger prompt/competitor quotas, priority support, and potentially more frequent updates.

-
Here's what I think about Peec AI's pricing:
Peec AI is almost in the Writesonic leagues (€199 vs €249)
But the tool offers just one thing: AI search visibility (which is exactly what this review is about).
Writesonic costs more, but it also offers a content gap tool, site audit tool, and content writing tool.
We also have Scalenut, which offers great value for its price if all you need is an AI search visibility tool (it costs around €100 to track 150 prompts over 3 AI search engines).
Here's my opinion about Peec AI's pricing: It's average compared to competitors. Scalenut is at the lowest side of the spectrum. Ahrefs and Profound are the highest end of the spectrum.
What is my conclusion on Peec AI?
Peec AI is a visibility tracker, not a strategy tool. Good for understanding "what's happening" but not "what to do about it."
My pricing verdict: Average. Scalenut offers better value at +-€100, while Writesonic justifies its higher €249 price with additional tools.
My conclusion: I'd recommend it for monitoring if you can build your own action plan.
